We read every message and aim to reply within a few business days. At busy times it may take a little longer, but your email won’t be forgotten.
What you can write to us about
- Questions about our guides: if a step isn’t clear or a term needs explaining, tell us which page you were reading and what tripped you up.
- Topic requests: we’re always looking for new subjects, from tyre care and washing techniques to seasonal checks and storing a car.
- Corrections: if you think something is inaccurate or out of date, please tell us where it is and why. Links to a manufacturer’s documentation or your owner’s manual are especially helpful. We check every correction carefully and update the guide when it’s needed.
What we can’t help with
We can’t diagnose individual cars remotely. Every vehicle, fault and history is different, and guessing from a description could do more harm than good. For problems with your own car, a qualified mechanic who can inspect it in person is always the best option.
If you have an urgent safety problem
Don’t wait for an email reply if you notice a problem with your brakes or steering, or a red warning light appears on your dashboard. Stop driving as soon as it’s safe to do so, then contact a qualified mechanic or your roadside assistance provider.
